Matthew 9:9-13
As
Jesus was walking on he saw a man named Matthew sitting by the customs
house, and he said to him, ‘Follow me.’ And he got up and followed him.
Two qualities are indispensable: first, an intellect that, even in the darkest hour, retains some glimmerings of the inner light which leads to truth; and second, the courage to follow this faint light wherever it may lead.
